Radomes and antenna claddings
The weatherproof encapsulation of large radar, directional radio and communication antennas places very high demands on the materials in terms of their dielectric and mechanical properties as well as their homogeneity and processing into the cladding element.
Especially for ship and large yacht construction, we manufacture, among other things, chimney claddings that also have the functionality of radomes and are correspondingly permeable to high-frequency radiation.
For more than 30 years, we have been manufacturing radome elements from fiber composite sandwich materials for spherical and cylindrical radomes as well as other spherical and planar geometries.

Certifications
For employment in a security-sensitive position within vital or defense installations, an extended security clearance (Ü2) is performed. This is also the case when outside companies carry out work such as the construction of radomes on Bundeswehr antenna positions. At Hahlbrock GmbH, in addition to the two managing directors, other members of the project and installation team have been checked accordingly. The Ü2 certificates issued by the MAD are extended and renewed as required.
