Fifth Shadow Roof for AIDACruises

At 09 April 2011 in Kiel, everything centers on the ship naming ceremony of AIDAsol, the youngest cruise ship of the AIDA fleet.

Also for this cruise ship Hahlbrock has produced the large-format lightbuilding construction "Shadow Roof". Beginning of 2011  the shadow roof has been carried from Großenheidorn to the dockyard in Papenburg and has been installed at the AIDAsol montiert.

Like her sister ships AIDAdiva, AIDAbella, AIDAluna, AIDAblu the AIDAsol has a length of 252 and a width of 32 meters. Like the AIDAblu she offers more space with an additional half deck and offers the guests relaxation and recreation in the area's largest spa on a cruise ship.

On 27.02.2011 the AIDAsol has left the building dock at Meyer Werft for the first time forward. At the outfitting of the yard in the following days the last work and tests were conducted on the ship. Meanwhile the AIDAsol was transferred from Papenburg to the test position Emden .
 


After the ceremonial ship naming ceremony in April the AIDAsol leaves to the maiden  trip through northern and western Europe.
